NEW SERVICE TIMES
Are you ready to start volunteering at Parkview?
FAQ
Why are you adding a 4th service?
Simply put, we want to "Make room for more" so we can continue to guide people to life change in Christ. We have maxed out every parking spot and every seat, so we need to create more opportunities to reach our community.
Will dinner still be served on Saturday night?
It sure will! Our early service is at 4:00pm, dinner will begin at 5:00pm, and the serving line will be open until 5:35pm. Then, the evening service will begin at 6:00pm.
Where will we be able to sit and eat?
Since we live in beautiful, sunny Florida, the seating will be outdoors! We will have tables on the front patio, circle drive, and back courtyard. You are welcome to sit anywhere you like. Our serving line will be open from 5:00pm - 5:35pm.
Is the new Saturday schedule permanent?
Service times are always subject to change based on what God calls us to in a particular season. Once we move into our new building, our service schedule will be Saturday at 5:00pm and Sunday 9:00am & 11:00am. We will always be willing to change our plans for where God is leading us towards.
But if I change services, I won't know anyone?
We understand multiple services will naturally change relational dynamics, so we must purposefully build community. We have designed our Saturday services with a meal in between with this in mind. You can come to the 4:00pm service and eat after or at 5:00pm and eat before attending the 6:00pm service. Better yet, grab your friends or small group and go to church and eat dinner together!
How can I get involved?
We are SO glad you asked! With adding a new service opportunity comes the need to staff additional volunteer crews for the 4:00pm and 6:00pm service. We have many opportunities for you to become part of our Parkview Crew! Our Volunteer Coordinator, Brandon Vance, will contact you to and help you find your spot on the team! CLICK HERE, and we will help you figure out what next step God is calling you to in this season.
Will the location of Kid's Programs change?
For right now, all the same places! First stop is the Kiosk, and then from there, our volunteers will guide you to your child's correct room. As we continue through the stages of building and remodeling, there will be shifts in our kids' classroom space that we will need to make. When that need arises, please know that we will communicate those changes with you well in advance. Thank you for your continued flexibility as we navigate building and remodeling. We can assure you the wait will be worth it!
What about parking?
We recognize parking is tight, and we are working fast and creatively to address this. While we are under construction and until we can add more parking, our traffic patterns may change to make room for everyone. Please know our Parking team's number one priority is your personal safety. Please follow their directions when entering and leaving our campus, and help us by remaining flexible and observant of what is happening in the parking lot around you. Again, we are grateful for your continued help and support.
How long will this plan be for?
This plan will be for as long as we need to move things around to make room for others. We are in a season of growth and construction, but we know the mess is only temporary. God is blessing in incredible ways, and we want YOU to be a part of it all. God is on the move at Parkview Church!
