What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Parkview Church based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these Biblical doctrines.

There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons known as the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity. He became a man, lived a perfect life, and was crucified and raised again to pay for the sins of the world. Salvation is obtained through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He indwells believers from the moment of salvation with the ability to know, love, and serve God in their daily lives.

The Bible

The Bible was written by men on the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is complete and inerrant.

The Church

The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
