Night to Shine 2026

On Friday, February 13, Parkview Church in Palm Coast, Florida, will host Night to Shine, an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God's love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. Registration is open for honored guests and volunteers. There are also other amazing Night to Shine events happening around the state to consider.

How do guests register?

Is there a cost?
Night to Shine is completely free for guests and caregivers.
Is there an age requirement?
Guests must be 14+. There is no upper age limit.
Do parents/caregivers stay?
Yes, if they want to.  Parents/caregivers may stay in designated hospitality rooms and enjoy refreshments.
Can guests with medical or mobility needs attend?
Yes. Be sure to put all medical and mobility accommodations in when registering honored guests.
What should honored guests wear for the event?
Formal, semi-formal, or whatever they feel comfortable wearing.
Will my guest have a buddy?
Yes, every honored guest gets a trained buddy.
Can we request a buddy?
Yes. Just include the name of the buddy on the registration.  We will make every attempt to pair the buddy and guest together.

Volunteer FAQ and Info

How do volunteers sign up?

Do volunteers need a background check?
Yes. Anyone who volunteers at the event MUST have a background check on file.
What should volunteers wear?
Dark colors so that the guests are the star of the evening.
What are the volunteer age requirements?
Volunteers must be 12+ years old.
Ages 12–15: must serve with a parent or chaperone.
Ages 16–17: require a parent-signed permission form/waiver.
Ages 18+: must pass a background check through Parkview Church.
Attendance at one mandatory orientation/training is required for all volunteers, regardless of prior service.
When is the orientation/training?
All sessions cover the same material so volunteers just need to choose the one that fits their schedule:
Wednesday, January 7 at 6:30 PM
Saturday, January 17 at 10:00 AM
We’ll review event details, role instructions, safety guidelines, and get you excited to serve!
You cannot serve without attending orientation and having a cleared background check. This is a Tim Tebow Foundation requirement each year.
When do volunteers arrive the day of the event?
All volunteers arrive at 4:00 PM for dinner, check-in, and final team assignments. Dinner is provided. (Volunteer check-in team arrives at 3:30pm.)
